Powderose Soap

Inspired by last monhs soap challenge and winner I just had to try out the beautiful rosepiping technique. It was not as difficult as I thought, just a lot of work!

Kudos to Snoblove!

Orange blossom & no teardrop soap

This was supposed to be my entry for this month’s soap challenge, but I had problems uploading my pic so I didn’t participate….

Well, to be honest, I didn’t manage to get that teardrop soap I was hoping for so I guess it’s ok. Today I found out I was able to uploade a small picture, don’t know why…

The colors and fragrance, Orange Blossom, is beautiful together. Faux funnel pour on top of the soap.

Soap Challenge April

This is my entry for this month soap challenge hosted by Amy at Great Cakes Soapwork. Another fun and educational challenge, I must say. I decided to use a round mold, just to see how the swirls would turn out…. Fragrance used was Lemongras & Coconut. This is a 5 colored soap.

Shower Soaps for curing in my soap cottage.

DIY Silicone Mold

I’m trying out a metode from Soaping 101 – how to make a silicone mold; Mixing transparant silicone with cornstarch – you need to mix it and make a dough out of it, and then you just press your items into the siliconemix and let it dry. Put some heavy books on top of it to really get a sharp conture of the items.

So far it looks good – I will post the result later 😊
